Siruvapuri
Siruvapuri is a small village located about 40 km from Chennai in the Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu, India. It’s famous for the Sri Subramanya Swamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Murugan, the son of Lord Shiva. Siruvapuri Murugan Temple is considered a prominent pilgrimage site for devotees of Lord Murugan. According to legend, Lord Murugan is said to have appeared here to bless his followers. The temple is particularly significant as it is believed that the temple was built by the Chola kings.
